Hi All, I've just taken delivery of a brand new non ABS repsol fireblade. Absolutely love it. Only trouble is...fuel cap is off centre. Any ideas? I know this probably won't bother a lot of you, but I think it's going to bug me.
It would get right on my tits too mate!! It's not right, ask if you can get it changed warranty maybe?
Jeez that's well off that would do my head in!! I'd def query that, there is no way that's right!! And unless they are all blind they must have seen that before they handed it over!!
What are you faced with once the plastic tank cover is off and the fuel cap off? Is the fuel tank opening likely to be offset in the tank or is there enough room for the whole tank to be on the piss?
That would do my nut in. I know I have CDO, (it needs to be alphabetical) but even without I'd expect that to be right.
So frustrating. I'll give the dealer a ring tomorrow and email a picture. Honda can have an email as well, quality control not up to much at factory or dealership.
Top marks for tins all being correct way round and matching... But.... You can't put rice pudding on a shelf with savouries.... It's wrong....

I've just spoken to the dealer, I emailed the picture above. They have said all their fireblades are like that. I'm going to have to go up and have a look at them. Is there anybody here who can send me a picture of their fuel caps from a 2015 fireblade? Looks like I might have to build up a case if I've got a fuel tank with a faulty offset aperture. Thanks in advance.
