Which do you think are the best for riding all year round( I don't do track days), but do knee down?

    Metzeler M7RR
    or Pirelli Gran Turismo.
gran_turismo.jpg I quite fancy the Pirelli.

I'm loving my Michelin PR4's and I know they have a lot of fans here.

My Pilot Power 2CT's are just about done and I'm looking at PR4's next. All reviews seem good.

Can anybody shed any light on what sort of miles to expect out of a rear. I get between 3000 & 3.500 miles out of a rear on 2CT's.

I had 6k out of the rear of a PR3 on my R6 and it was barely half worn.

A friend has 4k on a PR4 on a Z1000SX, and again it looks barely half worn.

They are superb tyres, and far sticky enough for any road riding.

Used Pirelli for years on both my blades and now on my S1000RR. I've always had 4-4500 out a rear.

I was thinking seriously about these, but went for the T30 Evos instead - only because of two trips to the continent planned for this year, so was looking at mileage. Otherwise I would have gone for the S21.

    Hi Guys
No opinions on the pilot power 3s then, have ran the pr4s but thought I would try something more suited to the bike ie a sports tyre not a sports touring one.

I have used M7RR's on my S1000RR and think they are a bloody good all-round tyre. I am aiming to get a set fitted as spares to my Pirelli SP Corsas for when the weather is more inclement.

Got a pair of M7RRs from wheelhouse tyres at birmingham. paid 205 for the pair. Not used them yet, but they were a very recent date stamp and all the write ups have been good..

I used to use the older Michelin 2CT on the Blade - and got approx. 2000 miles out of a rear and 4000 out of a front. I am getting slightly more mileage out of the Pilot Power 3s. They are fine in the rain. I've tried Pirelli, Bridgestone and Dunlop on the Blades but don't get anything like the mileage that I get with Michelins.

    Cheers,

    Ian.

The wear rate was much better than either the SP Corsas or the Continental Sport Attacks I had been using previously; in the wet they were confidence inspiring. Well recommended.
