For those who have concerns about madmoto chain adjusters and the chance of the axle moving, by using original adjusting bolt and nut instead of the one supplied any worries have gone, what do you think of my solution?
Defeats the point of having chain adjusters if you have to leave the original adjuster bolt in just in case of a fail!
Yes I agree, but I need to see some proof either way, I don't want to be the Guinea-pig that gets hurt , they do look better than original

I was just looking at these adjusters and was put off by the horror stories. Surely you can find out if the axle would move simple by torquiing up the axle bolt then winding in the standard adjusters slightly? If the gap closes, the axle moves. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Still don't really like the idea of a potentially badly designed part touching my back end ahem...
Varny did you ever try this? I've just been fettling the steed and was typically frustrated by the chain adjustment on the standard setup. I'll try the test we spoke about above at the next trackday. 200bhp at Cadwell Park should be a good test!
The mod I showed won't fit with new chain and sprockets fitted, my friend had madmoto adjusters fitted to his 05 blade and after giving it a lot of throttle from a standing start has snapped the adjusting bolt, which caused the wheel to slip in the swinging arm and the chain came of , just a bit of damage on the swinging arm but if it had been at speed could of been worse, I've now removed mine. With the standard setup you have piece of mind
