I'm thinking of getting one for my RR14. £500-ish and comes with a fairing extension to hide the pipes.

I fitted my Racefit Growler Black Edition on my RR8 today. First impressions on first start was mind blowing such a good quality can and the noise is beautiful, not forgetting to mention its a loud one haha

I was wondering if anyone else who has this set up had any problems with the infill panel the bracket provided does not seem to line up with anything to attach it to the bike.

Mine fitted fine . I perhaps bent the lower one for the infill panel but otherwise perfect fit.

Right, I currently have a Taylormade fitted to my 08 but like the sound of the Racefits. If they made a Taylormade that sounded like a Racefit that'd be great as it's the best looking exhaust.

Has anyone heard both in real life? If so, what are your thoughts? The bike is running a custom map for the exhaust so it'd be the cost of fitting and remapping should I buy one and i'm trying to work out whether it's worth it.

What is the carbon infill panel like? It seems a little flimsy and poor-fitting, especially next to the Taylormade carbon panel.

    Cheers!

Racefit sounds miles better than the Taylormade and the build quality is far better, ok the infill panel on the 08-11 isn't as good as the Taylormade, the latter 12-15 panel is a good fit though

Yeah I heard the build quality for Taylormade is uh, slightly lacking compared to other manufacturers. So much so that the one on my bike was repaired by the previous owner (he bought it as needing repair and re-riveted it himself but he's a machinest so I trust his work). Have you heard both in the flesh? I'm only going by some Youtube videos and there is a Suzuki fly-by that sounds mega.

Does the 12-15 panel fit an 08-12? I know the fairings etc are different but does it bolt on in the same fashion as the 08?

Cheers for the input so far :)

Had a Taylormade on my 13 plate, looked great, had a deep growl rather than the normal screaming pipes.
I have heard the Racefit and it is at the other end of the scale, sounds raw, screams, sounds as though you are going faster.
    Very loud in comparison.

I went for a race fit growler black edition on my new blade, it cost me £500 supplied & fitted and I couldn't be anymore happy with it. i have to say its very loud but that's what i personally was looking for and not only does it sound great i think it look great as well. the customer service at race fit was also second to none, after a phone call to make my enquiry's they invited me up to there factory where they made my exhaust while i was there fitted it for me and made sure i was completely happy with it gave me a free t-shirt, ear plugs and posted my old exhaust back to me completely free of charge.
