thought I kept an eye on what was going on....., the sales guy on the Honda stand today at Excel tells me there is going to be a new fireblade launched later this year. he says it's not widely known but not an insiders secret either. How have I missed that, what have you guys heard?
it's been around for a while,wether it's a new fireblade,or a new 200+ bhp bike is the big question (the 200+ bike isn't going to be a fireblade) but from what I've read/been told,the new "blade" wont be out till 2017,whilst Hondas attempt to catch up with the likes of yam,kwak,bm+sooki with the 200bhp all singing all dancing bike will be out this yr. question is,excel,major bike show,why don't they have it on display?
Yeah, it was said very matter of fact.... He knew he was talking to an existing fireblade owner, and he was actively trying to sell the TT SP we were stood by, so no reason to make it up is what I was thinking. Misinformed perhaps, but not making it up. This did look gorgeous under the bright LEd's But I did love this crazy thing;
A salesperson at Honda Reading told me ( 2011 ) that a new Fireblade will be out in 2013 ! You will hear every year the same story. I just believe what I see and I saw nothing yet.
Feel for the sales guys... 8 year old bike on display as new model it's getting to be a bit of a joke tbh, Honda have lost the plot tbh, even the cb1000 is a old design still.. But new African twin that's what the publics been asking for... Have they?
The adventure type biking is on the rise once again and i totally understand as people want to travel on two wheels ang go anywhere. New blade? If i see it in flesh with the spec as the likes of kwak, bmw, yamaha, etc, then i will consider getting another one
I thought the same, bet Honda would love a cut of the GS market, just look at the BMW stand at any bike show and the older riders with money flood there. Look at each bike manufacturer stand and each draw a different type of customer, BMW's got the wealthier ones.
