Hi. Has anybody bought one of the cheapy single seat cowls from eBay? Any good? They are only £20 delivered so may be worth the risk!
    Item number is 272081783266
Sorry but not sure how to set a link!
Sounds to good to be true!
    Cheers all.

Cheers for that Bob! It's a black bike, so hopefully the colour is close enough. If the fit is good enough, I can get a mate to repaint it properly if the match is a bit poor. I've just got a replacement seat unit for my bike, after the zip on the wife's leathers scratched the hell out the old unit on the only time she's been on the back. Time to remove the rear pegs and fit a cowl to stop that happening again!

I ordered a red one. Colour was off, but could have lived with that.
There were a few bubbles in the paint, and u could see dimples from the moulding.
Can't moan for the money, but get what you pay for.
I ended up chucking mine, and paying £60 for a second hand genuine one off fleabay!

image.jpeg I got a black one, colour a little pale and milky looking but liveable. I fit a nice little honda racing decal on it. Fits ok, but needs a little rubber cushion on either frt corner as it rubs on the bike paintwork, nothing major.
For £20 u can't go wrong, I'd struggle to pay the difference for a genuine one

You can get the rubber mount parts from Honda so it won't rattle

Had one on my 09 in black , colour match was good with no imperfections and fit was good. Lost the bump stop after a bit though ! I replaced it with foam seat rubber. You can't really go wrong for the money.

My mate bought one, lost it first time out when it must have flown off the bike.
The seat catch must have been crap

If you get one then do this.

I got a blue one, there are pictures on here somewhere, the colour was spot on, the only negative is that it rubs.

But just on principle I'll live with that rather than get ripped off by Honda.
