what i done today was take the family off for the day and on the way home had a nose in my local honda shop (where i bought mine from) to have a closer look at the new 2012 blade. unfortunately there shut to new year but the new blade was in the window. looks pretty good but was parked next to a new repsol and no contest in the looks department. the repsol there was an abs which had sold on it. be interesting what it sold for as they been trying to shift it for months and had it lower on price than i paid in june for non abs. also had a mint drz400sm there too which i been looking out for as second bike. might have to go back on the 3rd jan!!

Day off today, which I spent by having a lie in (much needed) and a trip to B&Q.

It was heaving, but given that Mrs Sossige and I are redoing the downstairs cloakroom soon, we thought we'd brave it for the potential savings. Was somewhat disappointing that the set we bought wasn't any cheaper than normal. We saved a few pounds on the floor tiles though, so it wasn't a complete waste of time....

Getting someone in mate - don't mind doing the tiling and some plumbing, but not expecting the replacement loo to be a straightforward affair... :(

Well a slow start ,Had to go to the post office this morning to get my bike taxed it is located in a shopping centre so you can imagine the carnage it was packed, anyhow sprinted my way to the post office and the usual old bag in front ,(Can i have a postal order ,can i pay my gas bill , have you a first class friggin stamp ,have you a bit of tape ,Die you bastard ! Now its my turn remembering the wife always gets my tax ,women behind the counter can i see your insurance please big glup ! not got it with me ,this now turns into a full on Basil Fawlty strut out of the centre into the car drive like i stole it got the insurance and back into the centre only to be pipped to the counter by an old women walking faster than me (How do they do that)? job do home dinner then a full on Garage clean everything out all cupboards empted massive clean out of old spray cans boxes ect good hoover up of the carpet and the garage is reclaimed for its rightful use!. just got in and it started raining again so timing was awesome. quick wash poured out a cold pear cider broke into a chocolate orange and now on here .Only thing i wanted was to pick up some oil and a filter but all the bike shops are shut today ,so maybe Halfords stock Castrol and i will have a do tomorrow its not due just fancy messing about .

Didn't think to do the tax online then, mike?

They do champion filters mate. It's either a F308 or a F306. Give me a mo and I'll check for you.
