    Guys,
I really fancy a Kriega R25 rucksack, but really can't justify spending that amount of money on one. Anyone got any alternative recommendations? Need one that clips at the front to stop it moving about.

I've got a couple of kreigas and they are good. I also have an ogio no drag rucksack that I've never used. It's a dedicated motorcycle rucksack....If you like the look of it, drop me a message if you like.

Push the boat out and buy the Kriega.
Once you've bought it it will last for years. I've just sold a R35 that I'd had for about 12 years and bought the R15 to use as an everyday backpack for both on and off the bike.

If you're gonna be using it a lot then you can justify the cost. I've got full set of kriega luggage and rucksack is next on list. Quality is better than anything else I've seen.

Thank @1000rr73 , I'll have a think about that one, which model is it?

I've just bought the US10 x 2 and the US20x1, but feel I've spent enough.....

When I came back from the TT last year, I swore I wouldn't carry anything on my back again, but might have to..... Not sure how much junk I'll have to carry, so want to be prepared....

That was the problem with the R35, I tended to overload it ( well if you've got the space you might as well use it). With the R15 it'll just be lightweight waterproofs and spare gloves although my back protector fits in as well.

I've a Knox rucksack, can't remember the model but they are about half the price of Kriega. I've got Kriega tail packs, 1x20 and 2x 10 and they are quality bits of kit. 2 of my mates have Kriega rucksacks and they are better quality than the Knox. It all depends on how many times you plan on using it.

Kreiga r15 for me - I've used for tours and ride outs since 2008.... Looks brand new.

Prob best bit of biking kit I've ever had.

Get what you pay for I guess.

I'd get the 20 though, just that little more room. Although been away for a weekend with my r15 lol

No help I know.... Sorry ;)

Have got a kappa 25 litre rucksack which is made from the same material as canoe sacks! 100% waterproof, very comfortable as has a vent padded back panel and has a chest strap so eliminate slipping around

Erm, buy Venture bike system and don't have a Rucksack?

Find them uncomfortable and risk of marking leathers too.

Oh dear god - did you say Ventura system! :( lol

Sorry those things are hideous..... I'd rather by a Harley to overcome my luggage woes ha ha

Have you tried a Kreiga, they are really comfy mate, and then15/25 ltrs you really don't take much anyway.

As for marking my leathers, the track normally takes care of that :( Your stuff must be prestine if you worry bout that mate. Fair play

On another note but on the same level.

Ive been ages looking for a small streamline tail pack, just to put some waterproofs in (seeing as im always trying to follow the tiny blue patches of sky in between heavy downfulls in wales) and maybe a lock & chain.

    Found this thread: http://www.600rr.net/vb/17-03-06-rr-modifications/85716-looking-small-tail-bag.html

So Im gonna improvise & make make me own....... heheee

Why have you never used it?

They look like a great rucksack from the pictures.

I just use a standard pack and it is comfortable enough, but after seeing these I may have to upgrade :D

Wouldn't want to be loading and unloading that lot every day on tour.

Bit late to this thread but my advice would be invest in a Kriega. Comfortable, very well made, and will last years. You get what you pay for.

the Kriega are very good. I have a bum bag. idea for money and passport when touring. And the R25. But the rucksack is heaven even when empty. So I use a good quality lightweight one from Go Outdoors
