Sorry if this has already been covered, I did a search and couldn't find anything. I've always ran 190/55 tyres on my bikes but in doing some reading it seems that it's not recommended on the abs blades. Has anyone here had any first hand experience with this?
Always ran a 55 profile with no issues, even tried a 200 section again with no issues...all on an ABS bike
Thanks guys. Good to actually get some first had experiences. The abs blades didn't sell very well over here so a lot of the info is just rumours and guess work. I've got a set of 190/55 Dunlop Q3 on the way so I'll see how they go and report back.
Did on mine at Ton + Speeds, check out the black spot rub mark on the under side of my Hugger in Pic 1. Tiz Fek all though really as it only just 'Kisses' the Hugger and is no safety issue.
Yeah on my last blade the 55 melted the carbon mud guard while it was up on the dyno getting tuned. I just carved out a small section and it was all sweet after that.
Put washers were the hugger bolts onto the swing arm.(you will need longer bolts) did it on mine and it looks fine.
