So after trolling the net for reviews on these QS can't find many for the Honda. So my question is has anyone had any history with them on the blade. Both have got great reviews but none back to back. I'm leaning towards the translogic as once it's installed it can automatically adjust its kill time to how the bikes being ridden through the rev range. Any replies appreciated thanks
I've only ever ridden with a quick shifter on a couple of occasions, given my prowess on the dance floor I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised at my semi clubfootted experience. I always tend to see what kit the various race teams are using, let the experts figure out what works best for your bike. I believe HM is used by the majority of Honda TT teams.
Hi I have a translogic one fitted and set up last year by a garage at mallory park can't fault it nice and smooth etc
I would say it depends on what year your bike is and what model of QS you are looking at, cost may come into it I am sure as they do vary a lot depending on the model you are looking at. I have the 2015 blade with the HM SS and its amazing. Works throughout the rev range, no need to mess around with kill times etc. You can set them still if you really want but I have not had any need to. Both on the road and on the track it really does kick ass. Not a single problem. Of course I am biased as I have not tried the Translogic so I cant compare just advise on my own experience. If you have a 2015 get the HM SS I promise you wont regret it.
It's a stock 2015 blade most of my riding is on the road and about 5 track days s year more if I can lol. Thanks for all the replies
Carlo what HM did you run mate? I'm getting the plus ss fitted next week but it's not to late to change my mind
The kwaks seem to be a little tricky with the hm to set up? But then I know three dudes all running hm + on their zx10's and love em I have hm, it's awesome. But not tried others so won't comment....
