That's prob the bikes true value. If a standard bike can be had for just over 10k then 3k for better suspension and balanced engine sounds fair to me.
Thats what I was thinking. The standard with ABS was around £12700. Still a bit dubious of this ABS though, and you know what they say if you are not 100%
I'm not so sure that there have been many issues with new ownership, but possibly after a few years or when owned a few years down the line. Not sure though but can't recall many issues from new owners.
Do it! Like t'others have said stock Repsol Blade £12 plus list though I doubt anyone will pay that much now. Mine really is a gorgeous and, with all due respect to non SP owners, if I couldn't have had the SP I would have gone down the Panigale/S1000RR/new ZX10R road.
Carbon hugger is on, keeping it standard till first service which is on april 9th then got K&N to fit, search for slip on can starts but not much else I need/want to put on it.
Brakes feel pretty good so far but not really tested them, track day booked in April so will let you know then. Seem more progressive than my ZX10rs, that had a Brembo master cylinder on and would lift the back wheel into corners no problem so we will see soon enough to give verdict on SPs stoppers. Out this weekend hope to put a couple of hundred miles on it.
Awaiting my new repsol , the venture shield is the hold up. First date they can do mine is 29th, oh well it's cold anyway
