Rode to Carousel in Southport today. Rode like a nervous novice it just didn't flow. Agony with left carpel and tight watch making it v hard with clutch. Highlight though was seeing my favourite bike from my youth a Kwak Mach III. The owner said on a good day he can get between 8 and 18mpg it don't handle won't brake and is as noisy as F. If I had the money I'd buy one tomorrow

I went out the weekend before for the first time since Xmas. Seems I'd forgotten how to protect all those important little places. The breeze was like a knife, getting through my leathers, up my sleeves and down my neck.

It was a 60 mile round trip to J&S at Oakmere yesterday for me. It was good to be out and plenty of others also took advantage of the hint of springtime. The cafe there was on form too :)

'wank mirrors' ? Surely that's a bit adventurous whilst your riding? Wait till you get back to the garage! although Meatloaf did say things appear bigger in the rear view mirror...or was that 'closer' ? ;)
