sr_e-146_1115_2017_suzuki_gsxr_1000_first_look_photo_025.jpg This looks like some bike. Are they any good?
Will the 2017 Blade match this? I need to change bikes next year.

True. I had forgotten about that. But will the new blade have one on?

I'm sure the new'un will be ACE, but at a cost?

Probably worth it if U can use the extra features & performance on Track but for Road use...................?

For value for money Road use can't see it beating my recent purchase of the last 'analogue' version for a smidge over £10K!

TBH I think my RR9 Blade was a better bike than my K5. They were good in their day but I honestly think its a case of rose tinted specs. I rode my K5 back to back with an L4 and the L4 was far better. The handling was in a different league and the Brembos were also in a different league although mine was running 2010 Blade callipers so it was about on par. I honestly pulled over within half a mile of getting back on the K5 as I thought I had a puncture as the front forks were so shite and they'd just had fresh oil and seals a fortnight before!!

Very good point exuptoy. I am an SP1 and SP2 addict, but compared to my RR09 or 2012 blade they were heavy, lumpy and a wrestle to handle. Bikes do move on massively.

Nail, hit firmly on head! I think you've made a good analogy there.....addict! The K5 were good when you consider what came before but to be honest I think the K3 1000 I owned was every bit as good. They reckon that Suzuki moved the game on with the K1 so what came after was just natural progression.
