Treated myself to a new lid. Previous model is the faithful XR1100 in Diabolic Divinity Guise. New model is the 2016 NXR Valkyrie in obviously Black N Red scheme. It's beautiful. The fleck in the paint is awesome.
Great helmets these. Got a NXR recently, lightweight, aerodynamic, quiet (ish) and stylish. And good that they can supply different thickness cheek pads for the perfect fit.
After using AGV for years I switched to a Shoei NXR last year and found it amazing. Light,comfy and just feels so well made. Bought myself a Neotec this year for touring,little bit heavier but still a perfect fit and quality finish
I haven't yet ridden with the new lid. I also have an old Neotec too, which is nice and comfy, but the flip front isn't great. I dabbled with Shark last year, but couldn't get on with it, and went straight back to Shoei. They are a perfect lid, but with so many variations to choose from lol. @Blade runner......I had the liner changed in the shop. I was on the cusp of M or L, so they decided on L and added a 13mm Liner. Its lovely. Oh and by the way.....Helmet City in Surrey are superb, if you fancy buying from there.
