I do get more mpg from Shell super unleaded! But I've just paid £29 for a hdmi lead but saying that got myself a highish end HiFi 13yrs ago Arcam separates and a mate came round with a Russ Andrew's power cord to try, I asked "how much" he said £85 I said "85 bucks for a f#@kin kettle lead"! But it transformed the sound! So I bought 2 but now I was on a mission I tried dozens of different interconnect leads, speaker wire! Ranging from just tens of pounds up to hundreds! But I found the most expensive was nowhere near the best! Sorry A bit of subject But anyhoo I would definitely stay away from supermarket fuel I was warned when I bought my last car and noticed the difference when I used branded fuel
Aargh!! How can 1m of any kind of metal make any difference to all the copper you have going through your house, to the transformer, to the power station?! I give up!
It's all to do with cleaning up your power supply and radio frequency interference! The cables wires have a special weave and the end has a watt gate! I lived at that time in a end of terrace house and the best time to listen to music was after 11pm because the row of houses had the least amount of appliances run TV's, washing machines etc which cause spikes and contamination! Mind it would have little or no effect on a cheap stereo! I was sceptical until I tried it! It's bit like someone asking you how can a full sport system possibly improve your performance? What's wrong with the one came with? And why doesn't the manufacturers fit them if they're so good! If your not in the know then it hard to understand
