I've been lusting after the RF version for about 6 months now, and in a constant battle between head and heart. So rather than fight myself, I made a compromise with this, and at least for now, it has allowed me to sleep at night Obviously the Blade is going nowhere, I love that bike far too much.
How are you getting on with the RSV4? Handling is razor sharp compared with the blade, feels like a scalpel, reminds me of the Ducatis.
Have you purchased this bike, or had a test ride, to see if its the bike for you? I love these things. I just want one in my living room to look at all day..
Bought a new 2016 RF last week. So far done 500 miles and love every moment of it especially with the full Akro EVO system fitted to the bike.
Stunning bike. I had a ride on 1 last year as a mate bought 1. As you say the handling is sublime. Engine noise is fantastic to. He had the AR system on his. Sounded like a proper GP bike. Would love 1 but the reliability of these bikes (not that I can say this for sure) is what puts a question of doubt in my mind. If it wasn't for that niggle I'd have bought 1
Sadly I've only had time to go to the bank on it So about an hour, but like it a lot! I think it needs some adjustable rear sets for me, as I could do with a tiny bit more leg room, but at 6'2 it is more than bearable, and probably better than the blade before I set that up for myself. There were only a few opportunities to feel the handling, but it was far more agile, and will take a little bit of getting used to. From what I have read and heard from people who have them, the reliability issues are no longer a problem. I do still love the RF, and what I have is definitely a compromise in many ways, but it gives me something else to look forward to I took it out, then bought it. I totally agree, it is wasted in the garage, and in all seriousness, I am considering if I can put it in the house
Wow that is beautiful for a moment I thought I saw "wings",,,on the tail unit ,like you are going into moto gp. lol
