I have always had one on my bikes and currently have a bazzaz on my blade. I have always noticed a difference when set up correctly. I guess it also depends if you have aftermarket exhaust etc so it is mapped to your actual setup. You normally remove the pair system when fitting a PC or Bazzaz also.
I had one fitted to my 2014 blade as I did not like the feel on the on off throttle control. Very pleased with the outcome. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
I would say have a look at the route of having the ECU reflashed, rather than the Power Commander route. Having the ECU flashed basically opens up the full potential of the ECU, allowing the throttle to open fully at all rpms, rather than only at the top end. It also sorts out fuelling too.
It is about £150 or thereabouts, plus dyno runs to set it up finally. As for recommended people, I am not sure, but most race tuners will be able to sort it.
Power commander every time IMHO... Used them for years with no issues. Bonus is ... easy to put back to standard and you'll recoup the cost come sale time.
True, there are no issues with Power Commanders, but they don't offer anything like the potential of an ECU reflash. You are right though, you can unplug a PC with no problems, whereas an ECU flash is a permanent thing. Power Commanders are slowly becoming a thing of the past in race paddocks, but on the road there is nothing wrong with a PC.
