well due to age & health issue, finding the sport bike is not as suited to me now, strangely drawn to a Ducati Diavel , anyone rode one ,
Still not sure and might be just a blip in my lateral thinking, but be good to hear any feedback.

I love 'em. You know I do. Part of it is that 'once you've owned a ducati, you still gravitate towards them, despite them breaking your heart' (or in my case very nearly my neck), part of it is the sheer drama of the thing, and yes, partly is so I can pretend to be Judge Dredd.

    Hi

My brother has a Diavel Carbon. He loves it. I have ridden it once but it didn't appeal to me. It has open Termi's on it and certainly has a sense of "occasion" to it. In fairness it is quick but i found the riding position uncomfortable. I have thought about a V Max in the past but when i tried one it was a bit to cruiser for me in its riding position.

I think its a bit of a "marmite" bike. Before you commit i would definitely want a test ride.

I really like the new xdiavel. But It would have to be a second bike and 18k for a second bike isn't justifiable.

Test drove a diavel for 2 hours, along with the Superduke, BMW S1000R and CB1000 for completeness' sake.

It's a barge compared to the blade, and the other nakeds. Felt like I was going to run wide on corners if I didn't concentrate. Found it comfy though and very fast in a straight line. xDiavel looks amazing.

In the end, bought the BMW, but regretted not buying the Superduke so changed over after 6 months. Had it 2 months or so now. It's incredible.
