    Hi all,

I'm struggling to get my track fairing belly pan on. It is hitting the Akra slip on and looking at the install instructions is lists different models for ABS and Non ABS.

My bike is an ABS although I have removed it. Does anyone know the difference? The slip on is also only about 5mm from the lower suspension mount. In the pic on the install notes there is a much bigger gap.

Everything fits fine where the end can mounts to the rear set bracket, I just can't get the ruddy belly pan on as it is hitting the link pipe.

    Any ideas folks?

    Not sold the bike no.

But I sold my fairings from the track bike. Now have CRC fairings on mine and both the old set and now the CRC fairings fit fine with the Akra slip-on

bugger, do I need a straight through one then and lose the 's' completely then? Looks like it's going on ebay if that is the case!

No you can get a non-road legal s-bend to suit the end can.

Basically what you have is the road legal version that was sold from Honda dealers as a sports pack. Which included the end can with the s-bend which had the built in cat.

Think I'll take it to my mates then and get him to chop it out and weld a piece back in.

Just have a look on here for some pics of the non road legal version to make sure that it is the same shape with just the cat that is different.

Don't want you to go thru that hassle and then it still doesn't fit cause the abs bends slightly different.

Check out the picture section for 08- blades. Should see a few in there.

I may just chop a bit of the fairing out tbh as can't be arsed with anymore messing or spending of dollar on it. I'm not racing so no need for oil catch element of the belly pan.

When I looked into this, I was told by CalSport that the Link Pipe on the Honda Akra is different for ABS and non ABS (the cable is also longer on the ABS).
