I have just bought a 2016 sp, just over 200 miles on it now and looking at adding a few bits, tail tidy, exhaust....new to Honda's so any help, advice greatly recieved!
Also is there a workshop manual available for the sp? And any common faults i should look out for?
Not sure about this abs issue....
    Will be watching that closely!!!

Heated grips a good investment, then an HM Quickshifter would be my suggestions!

Ride the thing on track as I'm told that's the only place the bike really needs the posh SP suspension.

    They do look good though

Hello Mac45, I am a bit too old school when it comes to mods. I have only changed the exhaust, tail tidy, radiator guard, Honda hugger and that's about it on mine. The people on here will give you loads of good advice. Awesome bike you have by the way.

    Hi

    I have a 2016 SP

Mods to mine are ASV levers, rad guard (R&G), HM + quickshifter, R&G tail tidy, Akra GP titanium end can.

I dont think it needs anything else in fairness. Its WAY beyond my riding ability, particularly on the road.

    Enjoy

Everyone seems to have pretty well covered it. I would add techspec tank grips and a Puig double bubble screen. Also get the suspension dialled in for your weight.

Thanks for the advice, dont get me wrong the bike is awesome! And i agree its more capable than i'll ever be!! I was just thinking she would sound sooo much better with a nice exhaust (not too obnoxious) and a tail tidy would help the back end,....so the journey begins.....:D

If nobody has mentioned it , 3M ventureshield paint protection is essential, those fairings are stunning and it really preserves the vulnerable parts from chips / marks and general wear. If you've not fitted it before I'd pay to have it put it on, there is a real knack to it.

The other thing to consider is a good suspension setup - can transform a bike . My standard 2014 bike is amazingly plush so can only imagine the SP is better still but as said its a track focused suspension setup as I understand it so may be harsh for potholes etc. on regular roads.

GB Racing engine cases other thing worth putting on, plus maybe a higher / tinted screen.

I very nearly bought a set of SP fairings for my bike as I do like the colour scheme but happy with the Urban Tiger scheme on mine

Hi, yeah thought about paint protection as i am a fussy bugger, maybe take it to ohlins guy here though it is leaps ahead of my old bike....thinking about crash mushrooms but dont like the way they look...

Welcome aboard mate, just had a couple of rides around the SW on my recent 2010 'blade. The ABS is outstanding and not a hint of a problem, no probs feathering the brakes into a turn either. I can see why its been a popular buy. So different to my SP2. Definitely needs setup for my weight to get best ride. Most owners think that is best value for money.

Hi and welcome, I have an SP myself with quite a few mods, usual carbon, exhaust, tail tidy , bests mods carried out so far.
    1. Custom suspension set up. Std way to harsh for road riding if that's what you do.
    2. Brembo rcs 17 master cylinder with HEL hoses.
Other than that enjoy a great bike.

Hi, out for my first big run on Sunday...what a bike!!! So smooth...just a couple of things suspension was a bit strange after coming from an 07 R1...but maybe that was me! Havent been riding for a year....and after we stopped for a break...started off again and the feel at the brake lever was a bit soft!!! Didnt fill me with confidence i have to say ....
