if I fit a slip on designed for a 14-16 bike to a 2013 bike , and sleeve the joint down to fit the smaller headers ( larger diam headers on later model ) What other mods would have to be done ? Would it work ? Any other fitment issues known ? Back pressure issues ?? Cheers is advance for any info
It shouldn't case you any issues other than the mounting points i wouldn't of thought. In order to joint it down from the cat you will need to add in an amount of metal to go from one size to the other, this will push the can back and it wont align with the rear set to mount properly. This is all my opinion.
You just need to find out that the headers end at the same length! That will be your stubbling block, a sleeve is all you'd need then
Reason I ask is I was looking at maybe getting a AKA titanium megaphone pipe and they don't make one for 2013 bikes...
