Hi guys, Hope this is the right section to ask this. Dropped my RR8 a while back but happy to say it's mostly fixed and back on the road. Only thing that hasn't been sorted is the damage to my Leo Vince Gp Pro exhaust. Where it slid down the road it's scratched to f*** at the end of the pipe. Can anyone fix this for say, half the price, of replacing it? Only reason I'm asking is coz Baron von Grumble mentioned repairing an exhaust of the dropped S1000RR he bought. Hoping someone can help, appreciate any ideas for sure
Unfortunately your not gonna be able to repair that I believe, someone else might correct me but don't think you can replace sleeves on those
Ahhh tbh that's what I thought. Was a long shot but good to confirm. Thanks for your help man, appreciate it
Thanks mate, appreciate it. Shame to ruin such a good looking bike but learnt my lesson. It passed it's MOT and runs well so that's the main thing. Just need to make it pretty again. Fancy a RaceFit exhaust if I can't get another GP Pro
Only thing Iciuld think of would be to remove the end cap and get the can cut professionally behind the damage then rivet the end cap back on. You would more than likely have to shorten the internal baffle as well. It knackered anyway so you have nothing to lose,
