Remal, what are the running costs going to be like? You know the usual stuff like a service or replacing the back tyre? You should see the look on my missus' face when I tell her the cost of a back tyre is more than a weekly family food shop and fuel for the car.

Never tell your other half how much bike stuff costs. Isn't that rule number one?

    from what I know.
Servicning is the same price Honda charge for the Blade. 600 mile service, firsy year etc.. So less than the Ducati I was looking at

Rear tyre around 1k so I'm told as it's a semi slick soft rear bridgestone R10 front and rear. maybe less or more.

MPG is much less than my blade which I would get from the same size tank of 17ltrs. around 100 miles maybe 110 if being gental. I would get anything from 110 to 150 on my blade
MPG showing for the first 200 miles of fast and gental riding was 32MPG. I would get east 45+ from the blade
But I never bought the H2 for the MPG

And took the H2 out Friday and covered another 150 miles so in total in 2 trips out covered 350 miles. Not bad but still another 250 until I get it in for a service

I popped from Bristol up to Gloucestershire then across to Ross on Wye and then to abbergavenny before coming home. Got caught out in the rain which was not fun with track tyres on. Seem to have caught the only rain cloud in the sky on friday

Think they look stunning. Not in a way like an Aston Martin but like Delta Integrale Evo.

You only get one life so if you can afford it then have it

Thinking of making one for mine, as there doesn't seem to be much choice for 954s and was wondering what the best size hole to stop dangerous objects but not restrict airflow is. Getting hold of Stainless mesh is quite easy, but there's precious little guidance on which guage would be best.

i'll check mine tonight and get back to you Ken,
I've never had a holein my rad as i've always used rad guards for all my bikes. I know many won't get a stone in the rad but for £50-£80 it seems a no brainier to stop a £300 + rad needing to be replaced.

Yeah that's always been in the back of my mind, especially as most 'bike' roads down here are like gravel tracks these days.

went out this morning to Honey Cafe in Wales as as per normal within 20 mils of being in Wales it started to rain. Bike looked like shit after but she's cleaned now than fuck

570 miles on her in 5-6 weeks and time to book in the 600 mile service next week so I can use full power all the time. HAHA maybe not

First time today I used the rain mode and my god felt like I was riding a 125cc bike. cuts the power greatly and also the engine braking. was not fun indeed but I can understand why it's there. sort of. I try and be smooth so anyone ham fisted would possibly find this mode helpful

I don't think the R10 Bridgestone's are going to last past 1000 miles. But had no issues using them in heavy rain when it came down. and they seems to be very good in dry weather.

    pics from today.

    just go to wales

    almost home

    and then cleaned again

Still averaging around 32MPG and after the service going to see how low I can get ;)

You've taken them with ya Mobi in Landscape!
    The Mobi will Auto-correct
    Uploading straight on here won't.
U need to upload to a PC first then 'View' pix in ya PC's standard Photo viewing program then click 'Rotate 90 degrees' and save.

Then upload 2 here via the saved copies on the PC.
