I'm sure it's been done already, but I've had painted and fitted 2014 SP seat cowl and tail unit. Love it.

Nice man. Yours looks lush too. I was tempted by TT Legends, went with HM in the end as its what I'm used to! image.jpeg

Cheers mate, yeah I'll have to watch out for that! Haven't ridden it with it yet. Who did yours, Spraybay?

Did you just send the cowl on its own? How long did they take? What did. They charge?

Yeah man it's nice, but can be a bugger if you scratch a panel and have to wait 60 years for SprayBay to paint it!

Out of curiosity, what was the ballpark figure for them to respray it? :)

Would love some Wilson Craig fairings but would probably work out way cheaper to get a Chinese set :/

Yeah it would be cheaper for a Chinese set but it is a risk because some don't fit very well. Others have been good.

They charged me 600+ vat as it was my 4th one.

Wilson Craig would look good as there's not many out there

Yeah heard all too many times they fit erm, not so well lets say. Would prefer using OEM fairings but don't want to change the current ones nor spend ~£700 on a paint job!

Had it VentureShielded after getting it sprayed up? Would shit a brick if they got chipped!

I'm in the process of having a SP seat cowl painted along with the rear hugger at Dream Machine. Bit of advise if using these guys expect along wait and poor service. They've promised me 3 times that they're ready and they're not. Communication is some what lacking and trying to get a straight answer is damn near impossible. They never ring you back and when you ring them the chap you need to speak to is either not in or on the school run.

I've just bought a SP seat cowl for my 2013 bike... Only thing is that when its fitted, there is a 2-3mm gap from cowl to actual seat unit and it doesn't fit flush... It's a genome honda part bought from Sutton honda but don't want to get it painted up and find its not right... Anyone else had similar issues?

Indeed there is a little 'gap' where the standard cowl fitted properly and the SP is a different shape so the little rubbers are visible on the tail piece. Can get a closer photo if you'd like to verify :)
