Integrated tail lights

Hi has anyone bought one of these from topzone before, or any other products from them and how are they?

I've got a £14 chinese one from Fleabay. It does the job, no issues.

 

Aren't these illegal though? So how would you get round the mot? Just stick the original indicators on before hand?

 

how do you turn them off ?

 

I bought one from motodynamic for my rr6, quality bit of kit. Had my mot recently and turned the fancy indecators & break light off, just to be on the safe side.
Had a chat to him after & he said I could have left them on.

As for turning them off, there's a hole at the rear of the unit that has a button inside, press this a certain amount of times for either indecators or break lights.

Also came with the resistor pack to make indicator LED's work normal speed.

 

I think the indicators are required to be spaced certain distance apart in which case the integrated indicators are illegal. This could be a massive problem from insurance point of view. It is irrelevant what the MOT tester thinks.
