I'd love some Nova stuff but the prices are a bit epic. It turns out it's an HRC box and I'm just awaiting the prices for the replacement cogs. Could be a bit horrifying so might end up slapping a standard box in it and crossing my fingers!

Nice thread mate. Its worth mentioning that your bike has Honda Racing rearsets and a HRC Swingarm mate. Hope you get it sorted soon,

I know about the rearsets, they are solid! But I'm pretty sure the swingarm is standard.

Its defo kit. It has the additional points for endurace lifters and the holes for cotton reels are in a different place.

I know, only problem is just keeping it on the "road" is a treat at the moment. I'll have to see what the costs are.

The individual HRC Cogs are silly money. I would suggest dropping a line to Meganmotorsport on Ebay. They have loads of them and may have a spare cog you need.

Isn't that a TSR Fireblade? I think they sold the complete kit racer bikes for HRC back in the day. I seem to remember this bike for sale on ebay a year or so ago. Looks like a nice project, and quite like the green too!

That sounds' like it could be right. It had some TSR stickers on it and it is the one that was for sale on eBay. It cost me £6k which I don't think is to bad. Especially when a superstock 2011 ZX10r was going to cost over £10k!

I've got the 2009 box on it's way to the bike and I'm going to see if I can get the Nova racing 3rd gear put in to give it some longevity.

I also installed a Corsaro lap timer which I'm pretty excited about!

    Hrc clocks ?
Six grand was good even if needed a new box
Lap timer looks like a good one
Went hm dash myself. Just couldn't see it when on track had to try bodge it and angle it up a bit
Anyone no if hm dash gear change flash changes at a factory rev setting ?

Yep, HRC clocks. Seem to remember it being advertised with a lot of HRC bits. Would have bought it myself if I hadn't just bought a new car.

They are indeed HRC clocks. Thy're pretty cool but I don't really use the shift lights etc. and the laptimer is always a bit hard to remember to press, hence the gps one.

More excitingly i get my engine back yesterday night and popped it back in before bed. I've not connected anything up yet but it went back in no problem so only a couple of hours of work to get new oil in etc. and get everything plugged in. The selector fork that came out of the bike that was the main problem looked a little worse for wear!

The whole box ended up being replaced and I'm now in position of knowledge/confidence about the whole thing. Arguably the best bit about collecting the engine was sitting on Filip Backlunds BSB bike and playing with the Motec dash and sensors. Ray even let me fire it up, I know I'm a child but sitting on a running BSB felt pretty special to be honest. It makes 251bhp this year though so I think it might have killed me had I ridden it!

I'll let you know how the quick change oil sump plug and GPS laptimer work out. Hopefully I can spend some money on track time and tyres instead of repairs for a while!

Nope. It got 230 odd on a particularly harsh Dynojet dyno and 251 on one that's a bit more generous. Hard... Core. Max throttle opening at Brands on Sunday was about 80% and that was enough to get a pole position for Luke Mossey.
