Just bought a new blade sp and the above are standard fit, but seriously thinking of telling the dealer to swap them to Michelin pilot power 2ct or the pilot power 3s, heard the diablos are terrible in the wet and as I live in Scotland we get lots of wet days, I would rather ride on tyres I'm used to had them on my RR6 for the last 10 years, what's your thoughts on the super corsas and would you do the same Cheers
Cold or wet sp 's aren't good IMO Lack feel when colder. I prefer rosso corsa for road as I get as much grip as I need on road and they are good in cold conditions . .
I had Sp on my 848 a laugh a min in a hot day ( couple of times a year and of course on track days) however soon as it rained or cold head for home, s20 evo very good just popped on the new s21
I was using 2ct last year, couldnt fault them but a mate persuaded me to try m7rr and they have been even better.
I forgot there is a 10c difference in temperature here in the costa del south, although we probably have more potholes! How bad are the roads now it's gone beyond the joke
Another for the Metzeller m7rr, very good so far. They will get their first track workout in June as well.
Yeah had the M7rr on my blade and really rate them for road, ne wr got to teat them in track, I have the sp on my R1 and will teat them in track in June, but they do t get a good wrote up in wet for sure, so I am keeping off the wet for now
Just told the dealer to stick Michelin pilot power 3s on, can't see past pilot powers, been using them for years and read nothing but good reports on the 3s, sometimes better going with what you know On another note anyone want to buy a pair of Diablo supercorsa sp's heard they are brilliant on a dry track
I'd say £160 delivered would have me opening my wallet. Still got a few more track days left on my current tyres but at that price I'd be willing to buy my next set early.
I would say that's a bit cheap, I haven't looked to hard for pair deals yet but that's around 80 quid cheaper, I was thinking around the 200 mark myself
Fair enough. Cheapest pair deal I can find is £220. Would split the difference and offer £180, but higher than that I'll probably wait. You could always put them in the for sale section and see if anyone else is interested. Happy to leave that offer on the table for a while.
Thanks mate, I don't pick up my bike until next Saturday anyway so I ain't in any rush, I will put them on eBay and see what happens, but will keep you in mind Cheers
