I always ride on full beam,whilst on this subject I saw a bike with what looked like a couple of very small but bright led (Led lights being as sore point for me at the momment) lights fitted below the fairing, in the air scoops which not only looked good but added to the being seen issue. Anyone fitted any thing like that.
Lad at work had a gsxf 750 same as my old bike, he had some led mini lights fitted half way down his side panels I thought they look wank. However when I saw him leave work in the dark with them on I thought I dont care how cack they look On the bike they are amazing, so bright in a none dazzling way. Never put them on my current bikes but defo would on a commuter or hack!!!
the north yorkshire gestapo have fund raising days usually wednesday and sunday at squires cafe every once in a while, where they pull over as many bikes as possible to screw £30 or is it £60 now out of us lot. due to this i put the standard can back on my r1 ,and was amazed how many kids run out in the road in front of me going off the estate where i live, so it might not save my life but it definately lets kids that are playing out on the street know you are coming.
I deffo think they save lives the amount of times Ive nearly been put into a wall or took out cause they havn't heard the stupdily quiet standard exhaust on my blade compaired to the arrow systems I've had on all my other bikes never ride a standard exhaust bike again it should be mandontary to have a loud pipe be heard be seen be safe
