I will up the offer £170 delivered, I normally pay £200 fitted from Pro-tyre for my SP's so by the time I get them fitted up, but it would need to be the 55 rear profile!

What's the postage on a pair of tyres? Depending on how talks go with dealer about changing to m7rr I may have a set for sale with 55 rear.

I had a similar conversation with my dealer, the SuperCorsa's whilst great tyres, are trackday and summer competition focused, so quite poor in the wet and will wear out real quick. On balance they recommended we swapped for the Diablo Rosso 2's for me, they last a lot longer and are far better in the wet. This suits my riding style and conditions, it may rain less on the south coast compared to Scotland but it still rains a lot !!. Have only used in dry conditions so far but they feel grippy and confident to me, no complaints.

Went for Michelin pilot power 3s, been using pilot powers for years on my current blade, never once let me down, the threes are better than the 2ct apparently, very good reviews for dry and wet on road

Yep - rear should be as low as 23-26 cold according to Pirelli.
    Front 29-32.

Ah sorry - misread. As a road oriented tyre, I'd go 30/30 and maybe drop the rear a little more if it was slipping.

Hi, i've done about 3.5K miles on my blade SP now, the Diablo Rosso 2's still have plenty of tread left and i've been generally impressed with the tyres although I try to avoid the wet when I can so not too much wet weather use, sometimes it feels as though the bike lacks feedback from the road and i'm reluctant to push it too hard in the corners but when I do the bike sits firm. I notice that Diablo Rosso 3's are available and get some good reviews so I may try those next. Hope all is well with yours !!

This is really interesting to read, I also took delivery of an SP back in July and am not that happy with how it handles. It is a big step up for me from an old CBR600F but I've ridden a 2008 Blade and was really happy on that.

The front and rear feel very disconnected on my SP. I am sure it's set up like that to make turning in sharp, but it's just too twitchy to give me confidence out on the road. Pretty sure it's mainly down to the Supercorsa SP's, I've had a few cases of the back drifting round or skipping out, and it wasn't even wet.

Going to try reduced pressure (thanks for the suggestion guys), but the sooner these tyres are off the bike the happier I'll be. Not too pleased with Honda for putting them on as standard, they should be an option.

Never even tried the supercorsas, heard the were terrible in the wet and we get it wet in Scotland, have you had your suspension set up, I found it way to hard for the road, took it to a specialist and he set it up for me, transformed the bike

Thanks mate. Not had suspension done, assumed it would be ok to start with but like you say it could well be track optimised.

It feels ok to me, not overly harsh. But it's definitely on the firm side as the biker stays completely level on hard acceleration.

I found some recommended settings on sportrider so might try those first before taking it in somewhere :)

Perhaps you would benefit from a suspension setup! I've now being using Supercorsa SP's over the last two years and don't have any such issues, They give total control and feedback without any dramas! On fully committed lean angles they feel massively sure footed even on the power, they feel super agile and extremely precise from transitioning. there not great on mileage depending how hard you are on them but I wouldn't ever trade the confidence theses tyres offer. They came tops in Fastbikes magazine a while ago and have remained the best tyres for fast road and trackdays, They are more suited to warm dry weather and have never tested them on wet or damp roads so can't vouch for them under poor road conditions. 10/10 from me... fantastic tyres
