Oh no, feel for you! It was really bad up here in the Fens, I could hardly stand up when i got into my car yesterday morning, then got a call from Mrs Freedom to say the half felt was missing from the old kennel building. Expect the rest will be missing by the end of the week. That’s my weekend sorted out then, and I hate ladders, even small heights give me willies. Hope you can fix the bike up ok. What year is it?. I have brand new never used standard 2011 exhaust that I was planning to get put back on when I trade up but might be willing to help out if Mega can’t fix it for you.
I am in Gosport - few miles from you and I was paranoid as fcuk as the rainex cover was blowing about like crazy - thankfully all is well. Sorry to hear dude, let me know if you fancy a ride out sometime when you get it sorted.
Will do mate..thats another thing.. £60 cover ripped too where the handle bars went through it.. The best bit as some dinny bint comes out and asks if the bike is ok then decides to tell me she found the bike leaning against the back of her car with no damage to the car, nice and comfortable lean too.. She then proceeds to tell me she decided to get in,start the car and move the car forward causing my bike to hit the ground for the second time that day!!.....again with NO DAMAGE to her car Shes lucky I didnt punch the Bit*h!.. what an absolute idiot!
You think the wind was bad on Tuesday, the roar of the wind round our cottage last night was like a jet engine taking off, and so bad we couldn't sleep. been out side with a torch and it looks like a nuke has been set off. thats the rest of the felt gone from the old kennels, probably rapped round someone’s washing line in Hunstantion. The smaller (empty) chicken house is now kindling and I have no idea where one of the bins is. Miles and miles of flat empty fields with nothing to stop or slow down the wind. The Fens are great in the summer but winter!
Yes I picked it up the first time and thought it wont go over again as we've had the worst of it and re positioned it then that happened
If it makes you feel any better (probably not), some dizzy bint reversed into my old black 10 blade outside a shop and caused £4k of damage! She then tried to drive off but thankfully a member of the public hounded her down. So it took 2 months to get it fixed due to insurance crap. I spent another £1k on Akraprovic carbon parts - Had it back for 2 days and..... IT GOT FRICKEN STOLEN!
Yes mate that does actually make me feel better As Slowr1der said though.. Perfect time to get some shortie levers on it, some engine protectors and hopefully a Yoshi fitted before the Summer gets here
I've got some ASV's kickin about somewhere - they are standard length, but thats still shorter than stock and IMO the better size.
that sucks! my other half told me to always park it facing into the wind, when its bad.. i didnt know about this until a couple of weeks back, just lucky that mine is in a garage
