Gary - that makes more sense! Lol.

Theory behind it seems good - be interested to see what people who have tried them think.

Progressive front springs maybe , but not much movement on the rear! How much is the change worth ???

Ive got progressives on the front of my 07, and my old rr7 had a hyperpro progresive rear.
just softens all the actions up really, so does help that 'magic carpet' feel when properly set up.

Again though Bats, make sure you get one set for your weight, otherwise your as badly burnt as you are scalded..

Right folks after having no look with finding anyone i sent me shock to maxton took em 2 weeks to make mod and setup a spring kit for me!!

One thing i never mentioned to anyone i bought a 2012 shock over a month ago and gambled it would fit me 2011 linkage and swingarm and guess what it does well pleased! Just ordered the 2012 hugger also as this will finish it off :D

Right chaps this was what maxton said about it after shock dyno it knocks spots off the 2008-2011 shock its very good only when its worked really hard for a long period of time does it lose comp and damping due to heat so for the road its a good up-grade! not as good as maxton unit or ohlins etc but this mod has cost me 110 notes for shock delivered:D:D and 80+ vat for maxton spring etc so i am well happy!!

A couple of pics of today :)

    Excited!

Well executed job mate, I can near put money down that it will be good, if they ran the shock on the Dyno and said its consistent then you are on a winner as the OEM shock is just the opposite it fades off in no time with heat.. Good call!!!

That looks great Battman, I'm amazed at the difference in size.
Looking forward to the feedback on the handling. :)
I am really gutted for you that your origional hugger won't fit back on though mate ;)
I'm sure someone will benefit from it though :D

Just one question about the size I guess your running the same geom? Are they the same length or is the 2012 linkage different to account for the longer? shock?
