Had them put on back in January, the Honda dealership in Hull appeared to have done a marvellous job.
However, I noticed last weekend whilst on a ride (the grips being switched on) the LHS grip started to rotate. I imagine the glue must have melted. Is this a known problem? What is the fix?
I will phone the dealership next week. Will they just replace the grip with MUCH more glue?

I don't understand the hairspray statement. The dealer will resolve the issue. I was just wondering if anybody else had had similar problems.

Bar end weight off, long thin screw driver under the grip, lift slightly and spray in some hairspray, move srewdriver round 90° and repeat until complete. All done in 5 minutes, rather than waiting ages for the dealer to do it.

Personally I never figured out why Oxford supply superglue as I have never found it that good at resisting lateral movement.

Agree , super glue sets rock solid and no give in it unlike other adhesives, it will just break away over time

I am going to use the hairspray tomorrow . Should I heat the grips up first , so that is easier to move them with the screwdriver?

I would of thought hairspray was for rubber, gel grips , not stiff heated grips, be careful
