Little smoke at low down revs clears through midrange obviously clear at high rpm no smoke on the overrun either.
Mechanics were a little stumped, and also confirms there's nothing to worry
If there was any chance of clearing it I would be happy lol.

Possibly in need of the valve stem oil seals replaced. My SP1 did this at low rpm until I replaced them.

Hi cheers for reply I said that to the mechanics, they said it would have smoked on the overrun if it were the valve seals?
Maybe need to leave it till winter then pull the engine out.
The fuelling is good and puts out good power 160 at the back wheel the with the cat still in place.

Mine never had it on the overrun, but it did do it from initial crack of the throttle.

Could be a number of things to be fair. Could even just be wear on the piston rings. Hard to tell really until the engine is on the bench really.

Not really a big job mate to do the valve stem oil seals, just need to get the engine on the bench and remove the head to get at the valves. Piece of piss to fit the actual new seals.
