Hi, great to see you have the bike, we have the same taste in colours :) I have had mine a couple of weeks now, at 750 miles on the clock (i've run it in carefully) so its in the garage until next Saturday when it's 1st service due. My suspension is still set to the factory default, we may alter it at the 1st service, but as you say it is quite stiff for the road, but I quite like that, it's when you hit something that you really notice it ;) . Perhaps I will dial it down just a tiny little bit. For the first 300-400 or so miles my arse and wrists seemed to suffer, but on the last ride no problems whatsoever, I think your body and muscles develop memory, and within a few rides those niggles disappear as you adopt the same riding position and use muscles you probably didn't use in quite in the same way before, your body adapts to the bike. For me, no discomfort at all last ride thankfully. Hope you enjoy it.

    Hi, Great looking bike.
Had my blade a year now and also remember my wrists suffering for the first few months. Now I hardly notice any soreness.
I am sure you will enjoy the blade. Great bikes

Yeah nice bike mate, had an RR6 for ten years and never had a problem with sore hands or wrists, out yesterday and it was only my left hand that was giving me bother, I am going to get my bike set up done by a professional, phoned him today to book the bike in,same day as I've booked for my first service, so asking about costs etc, £55 and it takes about an hour, gave him the date,he says sorry I'm working at the TT just now,I'm not back until the weekend of the 11th of June. He Must be good so I said I would phone him on the 13th might be the best £55 I will spend

Mate I would rather ride with broken wrists than use those, they don't belong anywhere near a sports bike;):):D

It's like it drops onto 3 cylinders pops bangs and finally gives up, turn it off back on away we go for it to keep happening. The speedo has stopped working but everything else on the dash is ok. It's in for a service Thursday so hopefully they'll get to the bottom of it then.

Try some tank grips aswell (Eazi Grip or similar) i noticed just that little bit easier on the wrists, but i have managed to put hardly any weight on the bars nowadays other than sub 40mph

Did you use a power washer? I don't let water anywhere near the dash.

No power washer I recon no more water than a good downpour would have given it.

I never wash the dash. Just a wipe, my 2012 dash isn't waterproof and any washing of it creates condensation in the dash screen.

Don't understand the negative comments about buying Helibars or similar. We all spend shit loads changing rear sets, seats etc. so we are more comfortable. We spend fortunes in suspension set up, nice end cans etc. However the one thing we never consider is the bar position. Look at a lot of racers bikes, they have all sorts of weird set ups. Remember seeing PaulYoungs bars on his supersport triumph, like cow bars.

If you are not comfortable it will effect your riding. Go buy different bike some say. Why when you can make the bike you want, fit you the way you want it to. Two of Hondas great sports bikes were the old CBR600F and the CBR1100xx blackbird. A set of Helibars could turn the blade into a modern light weight combo of the two above mentioned bikes. I love the look of sports bikes. I don't want an adventure bike and have had a naked and whilst great to ride, it didn't give me the wow factor every time I opened the garage. VFR800 more comfortable but not the thrill of sportsbike. Kwak z1000sx, bit of a heavy old hector. Blade with Helibars could be the perfect bike.

And yes I've just ordered some as whilst I may think I'm still 21, my bones and muscles say otherwise.
