Just completed a 160 mile lap of Argyllshire, never seen so many bikes out at one time,up the A82/A83 to Inveraray, from Inveraray to up an awesome route to the green wellie in tyndrum. So many bikes I just carried on down the A82 to Glasgow and home, awesome, still buzzing. Had to pour me out of my leathers when I got into the house. What have you all been up to today?
Gorgeous down here too...me & Mr lozzy did about 200 miles thru Lincolnshire''s finest roads & ended up at .....Skegvegas Was about 8° cooler on the east coast but ideal for porking ones self on pie & chips without melting in the leathers Very little traffic & no speed cameras in sight made for a superb ride back & as you say... great to see loads of bikes out
I was at Aberysywyth on Sunday, in the car ,doh,,on the prom the fireblade was the most popular bike, I must of seen 10 of them amongst the 60,70 odd bikes,
When I was up in Inverary an old guy was admiring my bike and we got talking about blades and it turned out he has riden nothing but for years. I asked him what age he was and he said 66, said he cracked 180 on an autobahn. Last year, he started riding at 14 in 1964,nice to see him still riding a blade. Got to be the oldest person I have met riding a sports bike
