I used the double H on my blade there were OK probably as good as standard but nothing to shout about. I was looking at the EBC race pads but after using these Sbs pads im sold never improved my brakes with such a minor upgrade before these really do work
That's what I thought and what I used on my 600RR,but everyone thats used the SBS pads on the blade have loved them, and at that price worth a try
I had EBC HH on my last road bike and didn't like them at all - initial bite was poor and they always seemed to drag as well. SBS muchos betteros!
I've used the SBS HS and RS, EBC double H and also the Brembo SC pads ... The SC's are better in every way! Cheap from Italy also ... http://www.bikehps.com/brembo/brembo_brakepads.html Just bought another set.
Might be a stupid question but what is the difference between the SBS Sintered 841HS pads pictured on page 1 of this thread and the SBS Sintered 809HS pads on this link? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151411838857
I think the 841 photo was a stock image, the 809 fits 08-14 blades. Same type of pad, the number indicates bike model fitment.
In case anyone is still after an opinion on the GPFAX pads... They are mega! They're the best pads I've used so far and on the BOGOF deal at HPS they are really well priced as well. They totally transformed the breaking on my Blade.
