Damn!!.......Foiled I could have made millions there! However....as long as Mr Muffking sends me £20 in used notes by Monday. ...Mrs Muffking will remain oblivious of his 'like' button
Stopped by our local dealership, and they had this on the showroom floor. I believe it is a customers - just been serviced. What do you think ? and will the 60th Anniversary colours become dated, in a couple of years, or fade ? It is £500 more than the standard. R1 60th anniversary colours by 660 Mattie, on Flickr
I thought hard and fast about yellow or blue, but went with Blue in the end, yellow looks good but would have been better with Black wheels imho, and wheels are much more expensive to change but again thats personal choice lol didn't realise they cost more than std?
They've got one in my local dealers too and it looks real sweet. If I was in the market for a new r1 I'd have this....but colours a personal thing isn't it. I'd always go with my heart because at the end of the day I like to open my garage door in a morning & go mmmm
The one in the showroom doesn't look like 18k of bike looks basic ...however the one above yes please!
I appreciate with yours, you want a track bike. From the pictures posted, you have set it up with lots of racing extras. For me it would stay like that, as a purely road bike with original fairings. So what it looks like in its stock form is final really.
Here in Guernsey the standard Red or Blue is £12,695 and the 60th Anniversary colour is £13,195. No sales tax or VAT here. Edit: you do get a nice Akrapovic end can, in titanium, as part of the deal. Not yet fitted to this showroom model.
mine is track and road, but cant stand the original fairing of any new R1, looks to "Naked" with all them holes in with exhaust shinniy through, but again, yeah personal choice
