If you have a big enough off you're probably chips anyhow! Think I'll stick with my full face for the time being!
Guy Martin had a bigger off than any of us will ever have and wasn't chips. I think a properly tested version of a helmet than puts no trauma to the upper spine, during emergency removal, is long over due. I take the input of those who've been involved in the development of helmets seriously, but still hope a certified and race used version of this helmet is widely available one day. I look at my flip front differently now. Very likely will get a full face one instead, for the time being.
