Hello guys...I'm new on here but not new on bikes and its been three years I have my 2005 REPSOL...I had numerous bikes in my life and i've loved em all...The fact I have a CBR and I want to buy another one ,its clear enough to say a lots of things... Sorry to ask a question right away and if it's not appropriate,please tell me to delete it...But I feel like a small baby and I cant help it... I'm one step before I make a purchase of a 2008-2009 white/black CBR1000RR. I wanted to sell my 2005 REPSOL first but I don't want to lose it because I think its a very good deal, so I will buy the 8 and see after for the REPSOL... The bike is in excellent condition in all specs.I wanted to know if there is a way to check if the fairings are OEM... This is what i've noticed between two 8s i've seen... The first one (very bad shape) if you slide your fingers from white through the black graphics you can tell immediately that the black is a sticker and you could peel it of If you wanted to... The second one (the one I want to buy ) you cant feel any difference between white and black... Also in the second one the "fireblade" sticker beneath the CBR is red,,, and from what I know it should be black ??? So is there a way to see if the fairings are OEM ???? Thanks... Hi n welcome Mario in answer to your question it may be the angle but on 08 fairings there should be a little bit of white showing as the black flash goes towards the big air vent also the black flashes towards the top leave a small white gap showing which I cant see on your picture.
Hi yes...A friend of mine who's spending a lot of money on them ...Don't ask me what brand etc though Hi,,,Thanks,,, Yes ,I see what you mean...And the CBR stickers on the one you put has an angle,mine doesn't... And what about the nose??? Yours is black...??? I really liked this bike,and now it's starting to fading...

To tell you the truth...US RR8 have white nose...But this one has gold cases which is EU specs...Actually they told me that the bike came from the UK...Its been three days looking and searching to see if this bike has OEM fairings...
If its a 2008 uk bike it should have a black nosecone and that badge is too low down by a few mm sorry but to me that would set alarm bells ringing.
