Looking to reconnect it. I did not fit the slip on exhaust but have removed it. I just fitted a stock exhaust to it. Now I want to reconnect the cables to the exhaust valve.

They do not seem to move when I turn the power on or rev the bike?..
However if I move them before I turn on the ignition they do move back into this same position.

I wonder do they move when the bike is moving?.. rather than stationary - i.e. sense speed not just RPM..

I am aware the exhaust valve is in the open position (with cables connected due to a spring) but I would like to reconnect the exhaust valve.

I do not know what position the servo should be in. The cable adjusters are not where they should be so nothing to work with to calibrate.

Any info please advise and yes I am aware people remove the cable to mod these but I want it stock if possible..

    Thanks

From memory there is a reset procedure you need to follow. Do you have a workshop/Haynes manual?

No I don't Gappy. I only just picked up the bike. I have downloaded a free manual this morning for a 04 blade ... not the 07.

It mentions the position at tick over and in gear vs rpm etc. my only concern is... It does not open until in gear at 5'600.
Not such an easy thing to check.

I will buy a manual. I might have to just run it wide open for now. I don't want it restricting flow when I am riding.
The stock pipe sounds alot more crisp than the Akrapovik that was on it..

It's on here somewhere as I know I've posted it before. IIRC it is disconnect battery for 10mins, reconnect battery, start engine without touching the throttle, leave running on its own with no throttle inputs until the fan kicks in, then hit the kill switch to stop the engine.
