Hi I have just got a 2012 Aniversary 1000rr on a 13 plate after selling my 2009 Blade ... I kept the exhaust Akrapovic which has the serial number M-HT008 on the band just behind the carbon bit at the end of the exhaust It is a titainum road legal slip on system non ABS which I beleive were made for Honda by Akra as an extra. I also have the "s" pipe with the Butterfly and cable. I you know what i mean ,sorry if I have used the wrong terminology. I have done some searching on the tinternet but have not had any joy It seems this system is for 08 to 11 blades is this the case My question is will it work on my 2012 has anyone done this they are the same bore but I want to make sure before I fit it as i have been told fitting the wrong system may damage the engine. I am not running a Power commander so will I have to remap if i fit it. All the best Funky
If you're asking does the akra from your 09 fit the 13 then yes it will. The size of the header pipes changed in 14 but up to 13 you are fine. Is your new one a non-abs too? You can just see on this photo 008 on the back of the akra I sold off my 2012. And the 13 is the same as the 2012 so no problemo!
