Ahh thank you Jamie for the good word hope your enjoying the E-Seat anyways, hope to see you visiting the website again soon my friend! Cheers Stu
What did I do for my bike [and me] today 1) Put a deposit down on a new Arai Lid [Jonny Rea (new) RX7GP] 2) Got a quote for PCV,K&N & H&M Qshift plus setup/fit - just over a grand - feck! :-( also salivated over some pazzo levers!
racevisors.co.uk - my rx7 is over ten years old and even though it's got a lovely buzz lightyear custom airbrush job, it needs to out to pasture!
Fitted a new DID X ring Gold chain and 15 tooth front sprocket to my bike. Fitted an EK chain and sprockets to a mates bike.
Went out for half hour then came home and treated the bike to a wash and got the polishing machine out
1. Nice helmet, very cool ! 2. I paid 550 GBP for HM Quickshifter SH, fitting and setup ( PDQ Taplow ) 3. they want another 600 GBP for PCV and K&N etc. 4. I think you got a good deal !
Think I was a bit rude about my price v there price, at the end of the day they gave a good service and done the job you asked... An old saying, The Quality of Service is Remembered Long After The Price is Forgotten... I do think it was a little high but these people have costs to cover and wages to pay.. You have a nice list of parts to go on..
Hmmm, so I could save 100 GBP if I knew before.....but, I was thinking to get the following stuff on my bike: - Power Commander V - O2 Eliminator - K & N Air filter - Custom Map ( Dyno ) - - Anything else I don’t need? Are you doing this as well ?
Not mine but my mates, I cleaned it some more repaired the tail tidy, fitted new rear sets removed wheels and cleaned everywhere! Polished the marks out of the bodywork, fitted new bobbins, new screen, headlight cover, changed the brake fluid, took brakes apart to Clean them, it'll soon be on the road again! Can we make this thread a sticky?
rode it, then took it to school for the project the 4 and 5 year olds are doing at my daughters school.
Brought the bike into the house degreased all the body work and started to fit the Ventureshield kit.
Bought a pcv and 02 eliminator, got 4 litres of 10w 30 castrol synthetic, an oil filter and some heat reflective matting for the bellypan, ready for Sunday.
In the last few days I have fitted a GIPRO gear indicator and motografix number board to the blade. All were really easy to fit and look and work great, well happy.
Today I finished fitting a set of 09 indicators to the FRONT and rear of my RR5. I bet I don't see another one with this mod. It took a little out side the box innovation to make this work and I have to say I think it looks good?
