Is that some kind of humour or have I fecked up? I do apologise for cluttering up your thread too. Nice bike by the way. They are fun.
Just changed the standard Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas for Metzler M7-RR's. Not quite as quick steering but a neutral steering tyre, they really suit the bike.

Not sure why fella, they're showing up here. I have the same issue in work due to the IT dept blocking Photobucket pics. I'll sort it a little later.

Yep. Around £1500 in bits got sold from the Blade, Took £5k in PX and upgraded (?) to the STR at £6250. All in all I think I did ok. Thrown about £1600 at it since I purchased it so when it gets upgraded I'll have another £1250 or so to go in bits again. I paid around the £500 mark for all the carbon which retails for around the £950 mark so won't lose a bean on that.
Never understood why people don't want to waste their time putting a bike back to standard to sell it and maximise their profit.
See what the proposed 765 is like next year before I make a decision as I really do love the little Street R.

I have been really luck! I got 10+ years back pay from work so was able to buy my STR outright and keep my Blade and CB1! The dealer wanted £7400 she was 4 mths old with all body work but managed to haggle him down to £7k so that paid for the SC can! ;)
I've got load of bits still to fit too her K&N air filter, R&G Aero bungs & Rad guard, lightech chain adjusters & Axel sliders, Stomp grip, Osram night breaker + bulbs, Evotech levers & tailtidy, Rizoma mirrors with raiser/extenders! I just can't put her down to work on her. I'm not sure about the 765 Euro 4 is really strangling the new bike so I'll wait 'n' see what happens there :)

I've had a 2010 street triple r from new. Added a few bits to it. Never had any issues with it - build quality seems fine. The only thing I'd be tempted to change it for, is perhaps a newer one :)

Well I took the Blade out today for the 1st time in about 6 weeks! She really is in a different class I love my trumpet but wow the Blade's so composed, turns quicker, is so smooth compared to the trumpet never mind the power ,It feels more comfortable as well! I truly am one lucky MoFo to have such amazing bikes but I think I'll have to get the trumpets sussies sorted!

I bought my Street Triple 2014 from new; did 24,000 miles on it before I traded it in for a blade.
I did love the bike - the SC Project Conic exhaust is the best sounding bike sound going to my ears; pretty much best in class in terms of power and handling.
But the small niggles over time really wore me down:
    1. The bike was poorly balanced, no sitting up hands free
    2. Wrist pain from not having clipons.
    3. This was the killer for me: Every service there was something wrong that needed doing under warranty. I had the triple-tree wiring looms replaced no less than 3 times because they kept failing caused by rubbing or bending or both.
So by the 24k service I was like; no that's it... new bike time.

Maybe a Friday afternoon bike lol, although it sounds like you really use your bikes. Be lucky to do 2k on mine a year.
