    Just a quick question.

When balancing a wheel should I remove the captive spacers (great things that they are) or leave them in?

why take them out? sprocket carrier on the rear yes as theres play in it,but certainly no need to remove the spacers, especially if they are captive

like i said,if they are captive why bother? they are in there, will stay in there, will make no difference if you remove them,so why make extra work?

Scooby is bang on! Leave them in.... There won't be any issues with unbalanced rotational mass being so close to the centre of the hub...
