My Repsol is near 8 months old..have covered 250 miles..

Is the 1st service due in a year? Or is it 6months?

As i spoke to a dealer..they said 6 months but its only advisory?

Wow 250 miles in. 8 months , If it was me I would get a couple of hundred.more miles on it and then get it done , it is really a check over the bike and oil filter change although I think it is important to get fresh oil in it , soon it will be tucked up for winter.....mine is due a service 3k since last one but I did drop fresh oil and filter in before summer , coming up to 7k miles 2014 HRC but will wait to Jan when I return back from Saudi then full service and mot ...can't believe I have kepted a bike 3 years! I think it will be a keeper...

Yeah I did my own service at 450 miles, and agsin at 1200 before first track day, had it 7 months now and done 4 track days and 2500 miles, why so little mileage mate after 8 months?

I would do another 200 though first, take it out this weekend and do that :D

Sorry to hear hopefully get leg sorted, I would get it booked in if you feel something not right with the bike , the longer you leave it the less lightly dealer will do anything about it...pins in needles might be where you not used to bike position ....

As the chap said had has had a bad leg injury , when I hurt my leg I still bought a new bike had it sat in the garage as it gave me motivation to get fit and get back on it if I hadn't I think I would have not had a bike again...hopefully repsolsam will be "on it" next season....

Sorry, wasn't meant as a criticism, just funny how we can face the opposite problem with the first service. I'm sure he'll be back soon.
