Is it possible to fit a Pirelli Diablo RC 200/55/R17 to my blade?
I know the 55 dimension is ok, but what about the 200?
    a) would it fit? b) what would it ride like?
    Thanks

A mate had one on his k5 gsxr last week when we were in the alps, width wise it looks identical to the 190, but is fractionally taller
only problem i could see would be fouling a hugger

Yes it will fit with no issues unless your running a OE hugger, it will deform and burn a hole in your hugger even if you do space it out, the deflection usually at the highest point will start rubbing before making contact, No issues if your not running a hugger but also no massive gains! Don't get suckerd in to thinking your contact patch is going to be so much bigger, you will get more side grip but the down side is it will the tyre will potentially slow down your turning speed as there is more rubber for the bike to get over. The more rubber there is then potentially, the more resistance to change and that means turning speed. There is a time when you want that resistance - it's called grip but we want to use it to our benefit, Quick to turn and the right amount of grip when we get there. I want to say 'low resistance' and 'high resistance' but that is incorrect. It's about getting the 'right' amount of resistance. Too much and too little are both bad things. Go for the 'right' amount of grip. It's all about balance.
