Hand made by Alan Taylor of Manx Leathers for me in '98. A copy of the suit he made for Joey for the 1996-1998 seasons. Size matches 52 Euro(42 UK), 174-178cm height.
I don't suppose many on here will know the quality or rarity of these, but you never know. Mint condition, overboot fitting, single panel construction meaning:
    a) you can crash many times in them(1.8mm thickness).
    b) expensive.
As worn by pretty much every top road racer you can think of.
    £850.

So, you may well be the multi MGP winner & TT rider?

It could be me or my Dad you mean,

My dad won the 1975 Lightweight MGP and was Formula 2 World Champion 1977/78 & 79 with 3 TT wins to his name

I did the MGP but unfortunately never won one, I was fastest in practice and led the senior Manx GP a couple of years running but it wasn't to be for 1 reason or another, I set & held the outright lap record in 2005 that stood for 10 years at 122.208mph from a
    standing start

I stood on the MGP podium twice & once at the TT for winning the 750cc production class (which was held within the 1000cc production race in 2003)

    Cheers

    Alan

Hi Amy, thanks for the message! Been offline for a while, sorry for the delay. I've decided to keep them after all, after wearing them the other day. A perf only suit doesn't cut it over here. How's Alan doing, still in Laxey? I'm a mate of Jim Hamers.
    Cheers,
    Andy Mulcahy.

No worries, he's alright he's been retired for a few years now and just does some odd jobs occasionally, he's selling some pin badges with his logo on if you or anyone else is interested, there is talk of him starting his business up again.
