+1 for the black sidi vertigo' s......not a fan of the poncy power ranger stuff, anywhere but on a track they make you look a reet twat.
Another +1 for Sidi Vertigo boots. Had mine for 7 years before the sole wore through. Did around 30k miles with them. Couldn't fault them, really comfortable and best of all, didn't squeak when you walked in them
Sounds more like you have an underlying issue possibly hip related that's causing your feet to go numb! The pins and needles are being caused by restricting blood flow possibly caused by cramped riding position, Can't just see it being your boots but might be worth a try, it does sound more like your stressing your joints beyond there limits or going into hyper extension! It's surprising how supple you need to be to ride a sports bike without causing any issues, I would definitely look at a different set-up to get yourself completely comfortable on the bike, I had my hip drilled out a couple of years ago after finding out I had a vascular necrosis caused my major bone trauma from a big accident when I was a youngster, it's mostly fixed now but never going to be 100% and still causes me issues after prolonged knee down hanging off the bike on left handers, try your boots first but you need to get to the route of your hip problem as it will only get worse with more riding, I'm lucky in the sense I can pretty much ride the roads all day now and without issues.
Thanks, I never used to have problems with my hip until recently. But due to the nature of my work it plays havoc on all my joints, but until now just had issues with my neck and back. I will see how I go, and hopefully sort the blade out with boots and rear sets so I can enjoy riding again. Although on a track I have no pain.... but think that is due to adrenaline..... it is riding there or home my pain starts.
I swapped my 09 footrests for a pair of 954 Chinese copies with rubber inserts. (fleabay)They stopped my feet aching from the unforgiving hard steel feel.
