Trying to diagnose a faulty roller door, Matt. Watching the mechanism from the top of the steps while pulsing the plib key to see where it was sticking. I didn't notice that the front feet of the steps were over the threshold. As the door came down it brushed the ladder legs, not enough to trigger the stop sensor but enough to start folding the steps... Splash! After a while I got back up the ladder to try and finish the job but couldn't work out why I couldn't straighten my arm. When the missus got home I suggest a trip to A&E, just in case. It was Sunday afternoon packed most of which were holding their own arms and looking pained. Anyway, I got in quite quick for a Sunday afternoon and the upshot is I've broken the elbow and the wrist. Can't get to the fracture clinic until next Tuesday though, so I'll know more then. Even if the wrist is fixed by December, I doubt the elbow will be up to the Blade for the rest of the year.
Probably a very select group of people that, those that have managed to break the wrist and elbow at the same time, without also breaking the bit in between ! Sounds painful though, and a right PITA as well. Take it easy.
