Had this beauty until November bust had to get her put down when her back end went after 10 years. SO gutting to lose such a big part of our lives. ...and had to get another due to the hole she left! So we now have this lunatic!!
Is he salt & pepper or black & silver, mine is all black. They are lovely dogs, non allergenic as well which is good as I am allergic to dogs that cast which was why we couldn't get a Pug, I was sneezing and had itchy eyes when we went to see some.
Salt and pepper. Yes, that's why we got him, Emily and Emma have allergies, and he's hypoallergenic. He's a top dog, his temperament is brilliant.
Im feeling like shit tonight, had to put my 16yr old westie to sleep at 4pm today, how can animals like this get so close to you to feel like this
Sorry to hear that shutty, we had to do the same to Alfie @ only 2.5 years on Saturday, kids absolutely devastated and we are also. Hardest decision of my life but couldn't see him in pain
Shit news guys. Sorry to hear that. Get out and find a new addition. As impersonal as it sounds that's the only answer. May feel too raw just now but I guarantee that is the only thing that'll make a difference.
It's part of the deal we do with them. They put their entire well being in our hands, even down to that last, awful decision. No complications, no ulterior motive, just the joy of being in your company and part of what you do as a return. People aren't capable of that. When you lose a pet, the snatching away of that total acceptance by another being leaves a massive void. I feel for you, Shutty mate. It's a bastard.
Shortly after losing the Rottie we also lost our 15 or so year old yorkie Stella, and now the new rot is coming up to 1 year old we decided to get her some company so just this afternoon picked up a 10 week old Beagle dog called Henry!
Slowly getting homes for all ours ( dogs and pups we rescued) 25 dogs . 5 are ours 20 to find new homes 27 pups to find homes ( 14 already going when old enough )
He's so funny. He's already holding his own. The Rottie pup is a bully and pulls my daughters cavershon all over the place but she's getting fed up of this thing already. Not an ounce of malice in her though.
You do realise it doesn't matter what you've called Henry...he isn't going to take any notice of you as his beagle brain bimbles off into the distance
